What should my child bring to preschool?
We ask all children to bring in a change of seasonally appropriate clothes including shoes and underwear. If your child is not potty trained, please supply diapers or pull ups and wipes. We require that parents have their child bring their own blanket and pillow for rest-time. Children also need to bring their lunch with a drink in a lunchbox . Please label all items with your child’s name.

We are a RI DCYF licensed preschool. According to regulations, the student teacher ratio is:

Can I call the Center to inform the staff that someone other than those on my child’s authorized pickup list is going to pick-up my child?
For security and safety reasons we cannot allow additions to the authorized pick-up list to be made via phone or email. You must fill out the necessary forms BEFORE anyone else can take your child. We cannot take changes in the authorized pickup list via phone or email.
Is the staff trained in CPR and First aid?
Our staff is trained regularly in CPR and first aid as required by the state of RI.
What is your discipline policy?
Discipline is administered through positive reinforcement, redirection and reflection and by setting clear limits. Should a child exhibit inappropriate behavior, he/she is approached by a teacher to discuss the child’s behavior. If necessary, the child is then escorted to a designated “reflection” area in the classroom based on the age of the child-no longer than one minute per year. This allows the child to reflect on his/her actions before returning to the group. There is continuous supervision by staff during redirection.
